Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Quality care during your pregnancy is critical to your health and the health of your growing baby. Your prenatal care should begin upon the confirmation of your pregnancy.

Becoming pregnant is a joyful time, but for many it can be overwhelming with so much to do and think about. Will I be a good parent? Will I have enough money? Who will care for the baby so I can continue to work? Am I eating the right mix of foods? In addition, most importantly is the baby developing normally? Wow, what a laundry list of life changing events and issues to keep your mind occupied for months to come.

The BabyLink’s program is there to help you along the way to serve as an added resource for a happy healthy pregnancy and delivery. BabyLink is designed to help promote the health and well-being of the mother and baby.

Please note, not all employers opt for this benefit. Please check with your employer prior to attempting enrollment to ensure that you are in fact eligible for this enhanced benefit.

There is no additional cost for this service if your employer is an active participant.  Enrollment occurs when the expectant mother contacts Mutual Assurance Administrators (800.825.3540 or 405.848.1975) as soon as she is aware of the pregnancy. The BabyLink’s programs consist of:

  • Risk Assessment - Conducted at milestone intervals during pregnancy, BabyLink's computerized risk assessment identifies potential risk for poor pregnancy outcomes. The risk assessments include an initial assessment, a follow-up assessment in early pregnancy, a follow-up assessment at 24-28 weeks gestation, and the collection of post-partum outcome data.
  • Information Line - BabyLink’s provides support and information to pregnant women and their families through BabyLine. This 24-hour toll-free service begins after the initial assessment and continues six weeks after the baby is born.
  • Education - BabyLink’s provides verbal and written education based on the individual needs of the participant throughout her pregnancy. All education is consistent with the guidelines established by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
  • Outcome Data Collection and Reports - BabyLink’s has designed its reports to enhance customer understanding of the clinical and financial outcomes of maternal and newborn episodes of care. Data management capabilities go well beyond the maternity outcome reporting requirements of HEDIS. Monthly reports provide assistance in tracking the status of women referred to the program.
  • Customer Service - A toll-free customer assistance line is available to ensure timely response to customer needs. A dedicated Customer Relations Coordinator will facilitate periodic program reviews with the customer after the program is implemented.

If your employer is a participant in this program, this costly and extremely helpful benefit is at no cost to you.

All you have to do is call 800.825.3540 or 405.848.1975 to sign up. Just remember it is not a benefit unless you use it, so use it often. Rest assured, BabyLink’s nurses treat all situations confidentially, always putting you and your baby’s best interest first.

We look forward to hearing from you!
