Community Involvement
Mutual Assurance Administrators, Inc. (MAA) is proud to be involved with the
growth and development of our surrounding communities. We participate
in many different charitable events throughout the year that raise awareness
and resources for medical research and treatment. Some of these fundraisers
include:
Go Red for Women, American Heart Association
The American Heart Association has created a program to help raise awareness
of cardiovascular disease in women, which is the number one cause of death
for women in America.

Race for the Cure, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
The Race for the Cure Series raises significant funds and awareness for
the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship,
and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.

Walk for Diabetes, American Diabetes Association
America's Walk for Diabetes is the ADA's signature special events fund-raising
campaign. With strong support from the business community including sponsorship
and corporate teams, this event raises money to help find a cure for diabetes.

Blood Drives, Oklahoma Blood Institute
The Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) is a state-wide not-for-profit blood
center providing blood to patients in more than 94 hospitals in over 56
Oklahoma counties.

Toy Drives, The Children’s Center and The Baptist Children’s Home
During the holidays MAA coordinates toy drive for children who are undergoing
medical treatment, and are not able to enjoy the comfort of home, and
whose parents are not able to provide a traditional Christmas due to high
medical costs.
Winter Wonderland, The Children’s Center
Each Christmas The Children’s Center stages elaborate lights on their
front lawn for people to drive through, which helps raise money for the
children who are treated at the center.
